I’m not a doctor but missing 7 months for a broken finger+surgery seems wild

Yea that's a real head scratcher. I was thinking two months at tops.
Month to heal from surgery and a month maybe month and a half to start throwing again to start facing live batters? Hopefully the 2nd opinions come back a little easier to swallow
