Just sit back and think about the question you are asking here. Do you really think they could pull off moving the game up one full day in less than 30 hours notice? From a logistical standpoint alone, this is IMPOSSIBLE.

Damn near, you obviously aren't taking into consideration how much preparation goes into these weekends. It's assuming a lot to think they can just snap their fingers and move the game up one day in such short notice.

doubtful....we would lose both TV money and ticket money....serious bucks...
as long as the game is played at it's original time, the money flows....whether the pre-paid crowd attends or not is really irrelevant...

I talked to ESPN and LSU today about a noon kickoff, right now they have no plans to move the time. As they've said now in 3 different releases.
School officials are meeting tomorrow at 4pm for another review of whether this game should be played or not, I wouldn't expect and announcement on anything changing or not changing before that.

I agree its more reasonable. But we may be dealing with contraflow sat. Its wed now. Its not out of the realm of possibility that the game being sat, could be moved up 1 day to Fri. Would it be tough? Sure. But don't say it cant or won't be done because you don't know anymore about it at this point than I or anyone else does.

has this every happened before (moving the game up 3 days before), curious what would happen with ESPN and the game being televised.... i think it is possible that they would play earlier

Agreed, and what are the chances at 4pm tomorrow afternoon they say we are going to play this game in Tiger Stadium in 27 hours (Fri night at 7pm)?
