Bumping this thread for an update

Finally started construction this week after a very long battle with the insurance company. We haven't won yet as there will be more supplemental claims, but we finally got enough money to get major construction going. It has been an absolutely awful experience but we are at least on track to get back in the house before Christmas.

Feel for you and your family, looks like it’s been six months. We were out 7.5 after Laura and every day was a bitch dealing with contractors/insurance.

Good luck.

We had a busted pipe but I was home to shut off the water. About 95% complete. Still fighting with insurance.

Thanks, a-hole.

Had me confused as frick.

Was on pg. 2, wondering how I didn't hear about an arctic blast IN AUGUST, before I saw the post dates.
