i meant to say a remote control trolling motor like an aquos caymen 24v 80lb 54in tm.....it has remote but not gps....according to their website they only has a gps one for a 12v...so I guess thats what I meant

Was talking with a friend who fishes a lot and got to talking about GPS trolling motors.

I think he said his was a Minn Kota. He was surprised to hear that my Ghost foot pedal moves like a regular foot pedal - he said that was the only thing he hated about his. He said his motor steers when pressure is applied to the pedal, but the pedal doesn't actually move.

I'm not sure why that's a big deal - maybe the "muscle memory like we all developed with the older cable-steering units. He is seriously thinking about selling the one he has and replacing it with a Ghost (money isn't a big deal with him).
