I use the Magellan brand from Academy. They give me good service. The shelves are probably empty now.

I kids got the heavy weight UU this year to wear under their clothes duck hunting. They must work pretty good, the little shuts complained about being too warm, which is rare

I have a set and they are good for me for still type hunting. I tried using them in Montana when it was 30-40 degrees and I had to hike alot uphill and almost sweat to death. Was soaking wet. I switched to merino wool I buy from Amazon and have been much happier.

The 1.0 is roughly the equivalent of military grade silk weight (maybe a little warmer) and the 2.0 is probably about the same as the waffle weave. Mrs. Midnight has a 1.0 shirt that is a perfect base down to 35 -40 or thereabouts.

Not knowing your other layers, I think the 2.0 will take you down to about 20 or lower, as long as you have fleece and outer wind/water layers. Now, their stuff is active, so it is not supposed to keep you cozy at rest - it expects you will be moving and active.

UA is good stuff, bulletproof - only caveat is the cold weather stuff - machine wash cold, line dry it/hang it to dry. The dryer will eat it. The rest of the stuff i.e. the hot weather/workout stuff? Lasts forever except the socks. I have stuff that's almost 20 years old from them.
