I like the RB's we have in this class with Kiner and Goodwin. I trust the staffs evaluations more than recruiting services generally. But I don't really get why we weren't recruiting Hargrove. Also what happened with LJ Johnson and Wheaton. Last spring they were talked about on this forum like they were almost locks to sign with LSU, especially Johnson. NOw I see Diggs name coming up pretty often to fill one of remaining spots in this class, but as a LB. He is listed at 6' 195 lbs. Did he play LB in high school at all? I just don't get that, seems like a big reach. Why not Hargrove instead? Lot of rambling here I know but if anyone has any thoughts on any of this I'd like to hear them.

never mind. I see Diggs is committed to Notre Dame already.

Wheaton was always gonna be a battle but LJ was a LSU legacy and was talked about as a lock.

This further emphasizes why out of state recruits should never be considered locks. How many people remember back in 2010 the #1 and #2 RBs - Dyer and Seastrunk were considered LSU locks. We didnt make their top 3 and signed Ware and Blue

Who both had longer more productive pro careers also. Ware obviously isn’t La guy, but give me La guys who are hungry and proud tigers.

We signed two top 10 running backs. Quit bitching.

Anyone who considered Dyer a lock to lsu is slow in the brain.

"IF" he is still able to sign with Lsu tomor, I would take him in a heartbeat, esp. if hes at least willing to try playing LB, and if not, then let him win the RB job one day

Maybe by people on this board but LJ literally never said we were the leader. He’s been very consistent from the jump that it’s A&M or UT.

Legacy doesn’t mean lock. Ask Landon Jackson
