Trump needs to do this and he needs to get Lion Ted on board since the Lion was his star pupil and now out performs him.
I think you pair Lion Ted as president with an outsider VP like a Dave Portnoy. You get the trump swagger with both, you get some political seasoning with Cruz who has also learned the ropes under Trump and Portnoy brings outsider business knowledge. He is a voice against pc bullshite and now has skins on the wall as doing more to help people during a pandemic than the stupid us gov

That's not a bad idea. The problem this creates is it divides the conservative base between republicans and the patriot party which will make it easier for the democrats to win every election. We'll have to do something to pull in moderates and minorities. Especially Latinos and blacks who vote democrat but have very little in common with them.

I agree with you. Trump can pull this off if he converts, but only if he converts some existing elected Republicans, and maybe a Democrat somewhere. If there are any noninsane ones left. There definitely are not on the Federal level. He needs a few senators, the HR Freedom
caucus and a few governors (dream Candidates- Kristi Noem and Ron Desantis). Desantis is the best fricking Governor in the country.
The GOPe has no base, mandate or relevance. They’re fricking idiotic for kneecapping the first popular president since Reagan. They’ll eventually need to convert the Patriot Party as swing votes against the Demomarxists anyway. GOPe needs the Patriots more than the Patriots need them. Turtle even suggesting that impeaching Trump is in anyway advisable was my walk away point.
