May not have been “The Who”, but there was a major concert in the late 70’s, where the fans destroyed the place, millions of dollars in damage. It killed the music scene in BR.

Disagree. I went to many concerts in the Centrelplex after moving here in 1979.

The was a thread on the music board a while back about Ozzy playing a show in BR and it got so rowdy that the city banned him from ever playing in the city again. But I think it was the early 80s though
