Enjoy $4.00 gas
I wonder how the market will respond
The democrats are going own the economy in 2022.
it's going to suck... America isn't that resilient..
the question is why are democrats willing to harm our economy?
none of them believe killing a pipeline saves the planet

So is he shutting down the original Keystone pipeline, which is operational, or yanking the cross-border construction permit for Keystone XL?
There's is a big difference.
If he's yanking the XL permit, that sucks, but that just means new capacity won't come online.
I don't see how we can shut down the original pipeline.
All the media reports indicate that he is only pulling the XL cross-border permit. Not touching the original line.
This is a spot where details are important.

Looks like Biden can unilaterally shut down the transportation of crude via pipeline across the US/Canada border on the Keystone pipeline for no reason at all.
The reason is to make his buddy’s that own trains and trucks more money. He gets a cut on the back end. But global warming is real!

What a load of crap this is. Just watch people, when gas hits 4 dollars plus under Biden this same person will tell us that is a reasonable, honest price.
...until oil company profits start soaring, then they'll have to be "dealt with" because of this.

You do realize that gas is artificially high right now due to a complicated set of deals orchestrated under Trump, right?
Artificially high? Did your brother tell you this? I don’t see how it could possibly get much lower.

What you smoking? Gas is cheaper than it’s been in years.

What’s the tax on a gallon of gas and what’s the actual price today?

Even 3 or 4 years ago I would have called bullshite, but I fully believe this. The party of science knows very little of the science of things when having to speak beyond prepared talking points.

The question everyone should ask is, WHY? A logical person probably already has a good idea of what the answer is.
Posted on 1/18/21 at 2:55 pm to NashvilleTider
They can't since it was never officially opened....although it does exist. He would have to answer to DICK Durbin who gets healthy income frome the refining terminus in Pakoka, IL

This stuff is feel good politics. Pipelines are the safest method to transport petroleum products.
Do democrats actually think it is safer to have oil / gas transported by a truck, rail or barge?
Oh well....
This should be a bonus for trucking, rail and barge transport companies

FIFY. There is a difference. Keystone XL is the 4th phase of the Keystone pipeline project. The first three phases are already up and running and are not affected the Presidential permit that Trump granted in 2017. Doing anything that would stop the oil already flowing in the completed sections probably won't stand up in court (especially given the district court and court of appeals it would have to go through).

How is stopping construction on a pipeline that is not operational at the present time going to affect the price of gas? I am as anti-Biden/Harris as they come, but I am also a realist.

Oh I am aware of that and I do not support it. Even though my personal financial situation would probably improve if oil went up. The increase to my net worth would be much greater than the extra $$$ I have to pay for gas.

Warren Buffett was the biggest donor to the Obama and HRC campaigns (I do not know about Biden) and he is also the biggest shareholder of BNSF. BNSF is currently the hauling the oil and would have to compete against the Keystone XL pipeline. Buffett also owns a significant share of the company that proposed building a railroad from Alberta Canada to Alaska and shipping oil to the export terminals at Valdez via the TransAlaska pipeline or on the Alaska railroad. So this move is just more of the stuff that we say under Obama. Democorruptionists paying off their donors.

Do you not know what numbers mean? I'm struggling to come up with how you would think this unless you just don't know the difference between a 1 and a 2 or a 2 and a 3.
