Unfortunately, they have a lot more coming back next year than most people think. They aren’t going away until he retires.

It’s magic how NFL ready players never leave Bama early

Promotes finishing the process instead of 3 and out.

Sopsher, but they didn't even blink. It was just next man up. Most teams don't recover from losing a guy like that, but Alabama didn't skip a beat. That's what great teams do.

Not on offense. Unless some of their seniors come back. Their defense will probably be better or just as good.

A terrifying thought is that literally any of their players can come back if they so choose.

Yeah but losing Smith, Waddle, Harris, Jones and Surtain is going to hurt them.

People said this about them losing Julio Jones. They replaced him with Amari Cooper. They said they would miss Eddie Lacy, they replaced him with Derrick Henry. They said they would miss Tua. Mac ended up being even better.

They will lose those players buy replace them with a new class of first round draft picks.

As long as Saban is at Alabama, they will never miss anyone

SEC Championships plus National Championships plus Elite Coaching plus Dodge Chargers plus Dominant OL's and DL's = Magic.

It aint Rocket Science.

LSU should follow their formula but Ed seems a little slow to catch on........

I think nearly all the teams they played had record opt outs and transfers. Not sure how many in top ten when they played them. I think bama had lost 1 or 2 players, so they were healthy for what we know unless they had a few with mild covid not reported. But they are expected to win NC's with the number 1 recruiting class every year.

It doesn't appear as if Ed is the only one slow to catch up.

You can't replace all that production. That team had a huge experience advantage over most teams. I can't see them duplicating this production next year.
