I love them both. There both fighters and I can’t wait for them to compete in spring. I hope they feed off each other and both become great quarterbacks. I think max Johnson showed a lot knocking off number 6 Florida. It’s going to be hard for the new coaches to over look that in my opinion. Myles is a true tiger and I really hope the best for them. I have no clue who’s gonna win out, and neither does anyone on the rant most likely. I’m just gonna trust the coaching staff, but it’s a good feeling to know that either quarterback is a proven and battle tested quarterback who will be good.

It was a great win but I don’t think Florida had any business being ranked 6th.

I agree but either way he still went into the swamp and beat a senior led Florida team.

LSU can stagger it with Brennan followed by Johnson followed by winner of Nuss/Howard competition.
That way you should not have to rely on a true fr for the foreseeable future.

21 Brennan (probably moves on after 21)
Johnson (still a fr due to covid would have 2/3 years as starter)
Nuss redshirt and he and Howard will compete to replace him

Brennan and Howard both went up/has played against inferior talent in high school..Catholic schools who win state championships and play weak teams with very little D-I talent ...Max and Nuss have played against talented HS players in GA and Tx. and as true freshman have the ability to lead a D-I offense such as LSU...Brennan has been on campus for 4yrs and we are still debating whether he's capable of leading LSU to championships....enough with the BS. MAX and NUSS are our future for next 4 yrs..

Brennan is contemplating a transfer. He feels like the old player in the room, most of his class has moved on, and doesn't want any distractions. I was told all of this before the new Offensive hires so things could've changed. One thing is for sure. The man wants to play football, with NO distractions. This team needs to get over last years internal issues or he's gone.

You need to do some research on the Select/Private school and Public school talent in Louisiana. Districts are both private and public with playoffs separated. Also reason it was separated was because the public schools could not win State Championship
