Yes? No? He had a great game plan vs UF. Would he fit in with O? Would he leave OU? He's making $1.5M now. Down or upvote away...

I mean i guess i wouldnt be against it, but good lord why would he leave? He’s practically revered by the OU faithful and has security that LSU may not offer.. i mean he would have to succeed at a high level immediately to aboid the can here..

Was a genius move to get all of the Florida receiving threats to opt out or get Covid quarantined. And I mean, all of them.

How great a plan do you need against a team missing it’s 4 best receivers & that ranks #120 in rushing offense?

I guess they think they'll become an internet legend if they suggested the person who eventually gets hired.

I’m not sure he would come here or if O would really want him, but he has done a good job of improving what was a ridiculously bad OU defense a couple of years ago. He didn’t have the talent to stay on the field with us last year, but neither did Georgia or Clemson. They were a little better this season and, as several have said, playing a depleted UF offense. Still, I don’t know you can say they aren’t better than 2-3 years ago. If they keep improving and recruit better on defense, OU might actually win a playoff game someday.

Florida was horrible last night. They didn't even want to be there. No Pitts, No Tony, no heart. They weren't like LSU who came out fighting when half of our team opted out before the Florida game. I'm not putting a lot of stock in what they did against Florida last night.

Thank you for this thoughtful and detailed reply. I was also thinking OUs defense looked better this year than historically. I was looking for reasons why or why not and got lots of why-nots. He has experience with mediocre talent defending the spread. Imagine what he could do with LSU's talent.

Now how does one end one of these threads.
