hehe good one Doc, but at 5-7 would you have a very hard time seeing over Big Herman to throw?

Yeah, but if I had been born 100 years later, I would have also drank more milk and eaten more vegetables as a child.

Okay, here's something interesting. How bout a trick play on defense?

Line up Nevis at NT with Chad Jones playing just behind the line of scrimmage in a LB spot. Nevis seems pretty quick... at the snap he dives through the centers legs and swats or grabs hold of the QB's leg as he steps forward to push back. The center will inevitably drop and push him down. Chad jones leaps over the top of the center to finish off the QB.

BTW, I actually did this a couple times as a DT in my younger days (at a much lower level that college). It worked both times and caused a fumble once. Seemed very disruptive.

How's that for bizarre?

Going for 2 points when you just scored a touchdown and you're up 5 with 3 seconds left on the clock would be a start.

other than big herm over the C on FG blocking, how about actually trying to block punts?

we fricking suck at setting up the returns anyway, so we might as well go for the block

And that's a terrible idea

how is herm over center a bad idea?

the NFL uses it. is there a big difference in the rules b/w NFL and CFB?

this is completely dirty but it would work. fake an injury to Hatch in either the UGA Auburn or Florida game and have JL or JJ come in and throw a bomb when they would expect a safe run

Keiland to Safety next year. He and Chad would be a nasty 1 2 punch. Gives Murph and Scott more carries and allows a younger back to step up and get some early carries. These guys won't be here forever.

Thank you!!! I thought I was the only one in the stadium bitching about that. To me that was a bad coaching job. Before that drive ever started the decision should have been made to go for 2 if we scored a TD. Can you imagine if they had done a Cal-Stanford play on the kickoff return and we would have lost by 1?

Start Jared Lee at QB because he has a bigger upside, and he has more eligibility remaining.

Here's a serious one.....

On a punt you always see the PR let the ball bounce and he has NO intention of returning it... BUT, he kind of hangs around within 5 or even 3 yards of the ball. How about if the Punt Coverage Capt. yells out the number of who they want to "prod" towards the ball and then have 3-4 guys ram him into the ball.. thus creating a fumble!!

It's legal.

**doesn't have to be the PR... dumbasses always get near the ball when they have no biz there.

I'd like to see Trindon at QB running the read option with one of the backs along side...a la DMac and Jones last year, the D would have to key on TH. Although not sure if his height would make the read difficult. Or for that matter, direct snap to KW with Murphy or Trindon as the back running the read option

A couple of packages with three QBs and three WRs. A gimmick yes, but isn't Florida running a gimmick offense all the time?
