Must have. Gideon should not have had two seasons. He was pretty doo doo.

Gideon’s line “it’s not the saber that has power, it’s the story...” in my head was them pointing and laughing at the sequels. Good stuff.

That should be interesting. Wonder how practical they will go as far as his look/makeup.

Watching this episode just makes me even more mad at the sequel trilogy. Dear god what were they thinking

You know Filoni gets a nervous twitch/tick whenever someone brings up the sequels.

I’m watching now and already have a question:
I thought when Mando and Boba met, it was established that Jango was a foundling and thus he and Boba are Mandalorians. However, in this episode when told by Bo-Katan that he is not a Mandalorian he says “never said I was.” So are we back to him just wearing the armor again and not being a Mandalorian?

Two things that were kind of lost in all the craziness:
1- The little fight between Boba and the wrestling chick was great.
2- That's two seasons in a row that a lot of people went into finale saying "they have a lot to wrap up and so little time to do it" and that's two seasons in a row they knocked the finale out the park. Filoni and Favreau are masterful.

Mando and Jango are Foundlings. Boba is a clone of Jango, I'm not deep enough into the lore to know if that counts to them but apparently spawning yourself into other clones to populate the Empire's ranks with thousands and thousands of stormtroopers is a big disqualifier.

WHAT AN EPISODE.
Luke taking Grogu to train as a Jedi. Boba apparently getting his own crime syndicate. Just wow. This is Star Wars.

Same when I saw the XWing I was like its Luke.
I was worried if Luke was to return but they did him justice in this episode. The same way they did Vader at the end of Rogue One

Got a hefty dose of girl power in there but Luke showing up really capped it off. Can't believe they did Luke so bad in the sequels. Rian is a moron.
