We met up and had a lovely time. Spent about 2 and a half hours together sipping coffee and tea. We left agreeing to a second date.

Congrats. She thinks she found a gay best friend.

I will give you this. You know how to frame the story on your original post to keep posters interested.

Why not just text and say, “How’d your week go? Looking forward to seeing you at X:XX”?

Women have the same concerns when they don’t hear from the guy for a while, too. Don’t be a child. If she cancels, it’s better than being straight stood up.

Without a doubt you ordered the biggest soy latte they offered.

No reminder needed, just show up.

About 90 minutes before you pick her up send her a text saying, “See you at X:XX.”

Caveat: I haven’t had a date since 1979.

During the ballad of the Marathon, you were able to give enough info to lead to the girl's identity, and pictures. Everybody was respectful and nobody did anything stupid, like contacting her.

Have you considered how you are going to lead the OT to pics of this new young lady?

I'm not reading through the whole thread but hasn't been discussed on why this date is taking place in the morning?
She wants to make sure there is plenty of light and people are awake and alert enough to respond to her screams for help.
