Just wanna see how many losers this board has. LSU isn’t playing for anything of significance. Even if the risk of a significant injury and costing him millions are are low - it still exists. Risk vs reward, and there isn’t any reward.

20 year old kid is making a wise decision for him, his family, and his future.

“bUt hE qUiT oN HiS tEam”. I promise you none of his teammates or coaches blame him or look down upon him for the decision. And he doesn’t owe shite to any of us, if they don’t care then none of you should either.

Thanks for the memories Terrace and good luck in the league

would love to be able to say that. and maybe i would have stuck through entire career til the end.

but i’ve never had a potential multi-million dollar choice right in front of my face.
i would have killed just to be able to play anywhere past high school. Like play anywhere.

If I had the opportunity to make millions of dollars and make sure my parents never had to work again, you bet. My family comes before everything.

He showed up on campus injured and took a long time to work through to good health, had injuries early in 2019 season, and this season he was the only dependable WR. He can't fix the issues on the team so I don't fault him for opting out. This season is a joke as is, and I wish him best of luck in the NFL.

I’d like to think I wouldn’t quit with a few games left.

Yep. Team understands, they are all hoping they get the chance to play for money. Make a career of it. He has that chance and nothing to gain for the remainder of the season on the field. Team is not contending for anything so he isn’t really hurting us at this point. He gave it a shot, team is coming up short, time to move on. Thanks for giving us entertainment and helping the tigers win a title. Will be cheering for you at the next level.

Losers. Funny.

Success is built on respect of ones self. Condoning individual greed will more than likely lead ultimately to failure.

I respect TM for staying with it as long as he has
J’Marr checked out without playing a down and both could see this stuff coming.
Terrace has suffered thru vey serious injuries already.
Has anyone thought about how these Freshman QB’s lay out these passes leaving the WR’s wide open for career ending injuries?
The veteran WR’s have...

In some way he’s a quitter, but looking at the state of the absolute dumpster fire that is LSU football, I can’t even say I blame him

I wouldn't have opted out, but I'll never be in the same situation Terrace is so I'll never have to make that decision. Sometimes all you have in this world is yourself and your family. He made a decision he thinks is the best for himself. And if he thinks it's for opting out and preparing for the NFL, then more power to him.

I'm not a pussy, so I wouldn't quit and I certainly wouldn't tell the rest of the team not to quit and then quit after the next game.

I ain't mad at TM. With his injury history and the state of our offense, in addition to the whole team sucking arse, I would have probably made the same decision. An injury could cost him multi millions of dollars.
It just looks pretty shitty after his "pep talk", and the quotes attributed to him after. But, whatever, we aren't in contention for shite, and this just gives the young guys more experience and chances to make plays against top competition.

I dropped out of LSU for 13 dollars an hour. He would be risking millions to keep playing. I don't blame him one bit and wish him the best.

So now if at any point the season goes to to shite the team needs to stop playing? What's the point?

You would be wrong. I bet some of his team mates are resentful. He calls them out and makes a big deal about finishing the season and now he quits. It shows a lack of character.
