Can you link the recipe thread again? I get short ribs often from my butcher and would love a new method.

Bubba Blue: Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it.

I have the same problem in Nashville. Whole Foods typically has gulf shrimp, though head-on is hard to come by. Kroger and Publix shrimp are almost exclusively SE Asian.

I would have been happy to get any of those dishes at a restaurant. They looked great.

Thanks to all who posted entries.

Darla, dropper and LL’s made my mouth water just looking at them.

Mash peas pfffft.

ETA. Darla you do a great job at hosting this. And your dishes are killer. May I suggest posting the final count numbers for comparison in the next challenge

Thanks, Mouth.

In this challenge it was 64, 57, and 23.

I grudgingly say 64 because one person voted for GT for first, and I kept thinking there was no GT who submitted, so I didn't count that vote and considered NOLAGT to have 61 points. I finally realized it was a vote for NOLAGT. Y'all need to make it easier on the counter, please.
