LSU's defense usually plays well in domed turfs like the Georgia Dome. The speed of the field neutralizes the advantage that the spread has in creating space, by allowing our quick defenders to close in on that space in a hurry. Also, I just don't think Tebow's a turf kind of guy.
P.S. -- You could bring up the 2005 SECCG, but that was a complete fluke where everything just happened to go wrong. It's not like the Tiger defense surrendered a bunch of yards or first downs that game ... just points.

We were just worn the frick out. What Miles di with that '05 team is nothing short of a miracle. 10-1 in the regular season with a hurricane, no running game, and no offweek for 11 straight weeks.
