Thread title says it all

I know that was a seat that had a lot of talk earlier in this cycle as a potential D pick-up in a state that will overwhelmingly vote Trump tomorrow

What's the current state of that race?

A D winning in Montana? I haven't kept up either but this is hard to believe.

Daines is polling ahead generally by a hair. But it will be close, within 5 points either way.

I wouldn't rule out a D flip there but I wouldn't say it was likely.

This is one contested race that I think has turned in favor of the GOP candidate. Silver gives Daines a 67% chance of holding the seat, and most of the recent polls have Daines up in the race. Anything could happen, of course, but this is a contested Republican Senate seat that I am least concerned about losing.

Bullock has pissed a lot of people off with his handling of covid. Turns out, most Montanan's don't like lock downs. Daines has been running effective ads (even though he doesn't do much as our current Senator). It was close over the summer but Daines should win this one. I wish Daines would body slam a reporter like Gianforte and seal the deal.
