cannot believe you are forgetting about Patrick Ramsey. He broke bradshaws javlin record and I know he held national record for awhile. He was known to have strongest arm in NFL, but that was pre JR

I'd say stafford should be up there. Yeah, I know, russell is better. He can throw it 90 yards on his back or whatever. But in all honesty, Stafford could throw it 80 yard in the air in high school, and has undoubtedly the strongest arm in CFB right now. I wholeheartedly believe that when he comes out that him and JR will have the two strongest arms in the NFL. And both will be under 5 years in the league, how crazy is that!?

Bert Jones, Bradshaw, Jeff George ... lots of others could get multiple votes around here from what I've seen in the thread. I seriously doubt a single person will back you up on the astonishing claim that Michael Vick could throw a football farther than JaMarcus Russell.

And neither could anybody else, period. JaMarcus Russell has the strongest arm in football, at any level, in history.

Strictly based on how far or hard they can throw a football? I think JR actually does win this. The other guys are obviously more proven QBs at this point and are known for their arm strength, but IMO JR has them in that category.

If JM could have thrown it farther, we'd have won the Auburn game.

I don't think JR could throw it 90 yards like Bert Jones!

I remember hearing that Ray Guy could throw the ball 90 yards. I believe he was a QB at USM. And, I seem to recall the Raiders putting him in to throw the Hail Mary a time or two.

No one likes him but no one threw a 40-60 yard ball on a rope like Aaron Brooks.

I really do hope this is a joke. Vick has above average arm strength and thats it.

Brett Favre.

I had a buddy who was a frosh. reciever at USM when BF was a Sr. He said the guy was unbeliveable - could throw the ball wherever he wanted on the field no matter which direction he was heading in.

The guy is almost 40 and still has a cannon.

It's Jamarcus. I truly believe he has the best arm ever to enter the NFL.
