Kyle Boller can throw the ball into the endzone from mid-field on his knees. That has worked out pretty well for Baltimore.

Little early to be throwing JaMarcus's name in there. He's only played against college boys.
Elway had a gun

Even as a prep player, Bradshaw's arm strength was legendary.
For many years he held the national javelin throw record.

Larry Allen, hands down. He did 225 43 times. He has a stronger arm than anyone else.

I remember Marino had an absolute gun in the tecmo super bowl game for SNES.

His arm won't get weaker it'll get stronger. Sonny Jurgensen, Roman Gabriel, Bradshaw, Elway ... JR has superior strength, and outstanding accuracy to boot. Best ever.

Fables are fables, but I heard that Burt Jones thru the ball out of the soth end-zone of Tiger Stadium. I did see in the late 80's or early 90's of a world record (Ripley's-Believe-it-or-not)that he and David Frost made in a egg throwing and catch (unbroken) contest. It was over 110 yards. No bull. It took 25-30 throws to be made. Ubelieveable

Rumor was that J. Booty tossed it out of the stadium on the South Endzone side from the 20.

Elway. Didn't you see the commercial back in the day of him throwing the vortex football out of the stadium from the 50 yard line?
But seriously, Elway is my favorite for this. Jamarcus definitely has a rifle though.

Steve Bartkowski was the guy best known for armstrength before Elway.
In an interview recently, a reporter told Bartkowski that he had heard a legend of him throwing the ball from one end zone to the other. The reporter then stated that he wanted to hear directly from Bartkowski, "what's the farthest you can throw the ball?"
Bartkowski answered, "about 65 yards."
The reporter stated that 65 yards is pretty good, but definitely not the stuff of legend.
To this, Bartkowski responded, "you have to realize, I'm 55 years old."

Drew Brees threw a beautiful touch pass for a TD last night. It's not just about having a rocket for an arm.
