Minimum wage should be managed at the state and local level
The cost of living in Seattle is obviously vastly different than Western Kentucky
It makes little sense to have huge boosts to federal minimum wage.

I'm no conservative, but I 100% prescribe to the theory that Thomas Sowell makes regarding socioeconomic programming.
You cannot begrudge abuse of the system later if you subsidize bad behavior and remove the habit of economic adaptation from your citizens.
