How would Aranda defense Leach’s offense on Saturday?

He probably would have copied Washington's model. We wouldn't have but maybe one turnover, next to no pressure on Costello. We would have won though

Did you watch the OU game last year? Lincoln Riley is a Leach disciple.

I'm almost positive that he would have played zone most of the game, disguising into man at times. He would've brought much less pressure, but definitely pressured at times.

Honestly, I don't know how it would've gone, given our personnel issues and the fact that Leach seemed to be ready for anything and everything. I feel like more zone, while not completely shutting down the air raid, would've at least gave us better opportunities to limit YAC.

I bed he'd organize a defense.

Say what you will about Aranda but an adjustment would have been made.

Better for sure. But LSU still gets carved. Zone requires pretty good communication and chemistry. Ward not practicing and Evans being new is just a killer. They wouldn't have had time to practice it during the week.

Of all the things aranda did well, adjusting mid-game was absolutely not one of them. I doubt it.

Leach and Riley operate two completely different offenses.

Leach is all about passing volume and percentages, while Riley is more RPO centric.

You are absolutely out of you fricking mind and flat out wrong.

Mid-game adjustments are one of his calling cards. He had beautiful adjustments throughout his career at LSU. It is one of the things that makes him so coveted. There are far more examples of him doing this than not.

You clearly don't know what you're talking about.

After Ole Miss game last season, I think O had had enough of Aranda style of defense.

Bo is the only newcomer, all the other staff members return so they should be able to come up with something.

Aranda couldn't slow down Texas or Vandy so he wouldn't come close to slowing down Leach with a very good, experienced qb? Aranda sucked. We wouldn't have touched their qb more than 2x.

I can’t understand why Pelini didn’t copy that and why he failed to use Stingley, Fulton, Vincent, or Delpit in the secondary and let Queen and Phillips handle the underneath stuff withChaisson helping Gaye pressure the QB
