LSU was favored over Moo St. by 18 before the game started. How'd that turn out?

It’s possible, and really COVID would be mostly to blame.

The Dow has been restored pre-covid levels, unemployment is set to be back in the 7-8% range by election time, and consumer confidence (index) is back above 100 for the first time since the pandemic. He has quietly righted the ship, and he needs to hammer this home.

Biden will certainly hit him with the 1/5 deaths bullshite so he needs to point out that our case positivity rates and death rates are completely consistent with EU28 nations that have similar demographics and response protocols.

Ha. The polls are cooked to get rid of the electoral college after Trump wins.

They are arguably one of the worst polling outfits out there.

When screaming liberal Martha Raddatz admits that she has been traveling all over the country and she has seen "no enthusiasm for Biden anywhere". That tells me all I need to know.

Fox News is the worst poll there is. That is widely known.

Why not just wait and see?

Why do you people come to this board assuming we know the answer to this question?

What is the point?

Because this is a message board and a place for discussion?

This. Hopefully the Project Veritas video hurt them a bit. They say there is more to come.

It has been very frustrating to see little to no pushback against these pre-planned media fake news stories coming out each week.

Or you can take it as a sign his internal polling has him up huge.

The first problem w your premise is “the polls suck”, they don’t. People love to say they were wrong in 2016, they weren’t, in fact just the opposite (esp on the national level).

Polls aren’t binary (right or wrong), they’re quantitative, as in margin of error. National avg margin of error going back about 50 years is 4.1, they were 3.1 in 2016, substantially better. State historic avg is 4.8, they were 5.1 in 2016, slightly worse.

But if you insist on just a “right or wrong” metric, which is foolish but whatever, even then they call general elections correctly about 84% of the time. If the polls are just as wrong as they were 2016 (same margin of error, and well just assume going DJTs way, which is no lock), Biden wins comfortably, if nothing changes from now and Election Day.

So yes, he’s behind and in trouble, but he could definitely still win.

The polling experts didn't know how to poll Trump in 2016.

This is not the same electorate as 2016. How to measure enthusiasm is guesswork at best. Whichever side is motivated to go to the polls in the Rust Belt will probably win this election.

It's hard to imagine that Democrats are more enthusiastic to go to the polls than they were with Clinton, but it's impossible to measure how many stayed home in 2016 because they thought she was guaranteed the win.

He is losing and is going to lose. No one on this board with admit it but covid, mail-in voting, and other factors are too much to overcome. Biden is a slobering basement dweller and crushing the polls. simply because OMB
