What a challenge TAF/LSU has in front of them.

The campus/stadium experience is not good at all.

Outside of our poor performance on the field, the experience was certainly not worth the TAF/ticket prices.

You really just have to look at it as a donation. If I had it to do over again, I would probably pass on tix this year. It is rather depressing. It's not terrible and with so few people, everything is easy. But there is no juice at all to the experience. And this is not sour grapes on the game, just an honest assessment of campus and stadium atmosphere. Of course, that should all improve if restrictions are relaxed.

If this goes the entire season tailgating from here on out will just be a shell of itself.

Lots of people may second guess hauling all their shite to a meaningless game after not doing it for a year.

There could be some impact but I rather doubt it will be much. Tailgating allows for people to enjoy a party regardless of precisely how good the team is. If anything, I expect there to be pent-up tailgating energy ready to be released. We shall see.

Is the 25% no tailgating for the whole season or will schools be able to expand it. Worried because DeSantis ended all Florida restrictions so the Swamp technically could be at 100%.

It was terrible. For so few people, there were still too long of lines at the concession stand I went to.

And the stadium itself was depressing. Nobody in that place is not a good look.

I think the 25 % percent or less is basically a Conference decision. The SEC will not allow Florida to have a full stadium regardless on whats going on in their State. Unless everything just drastically improves for everyone.

I was ok with everything except how they set up concessions. All the talk about social distancing and the only place I was surround by people was the line at the concession stand. It makes no sense to have only a handful of them open.

It was just really really weird in my opinion. I also think with a packed house the game may have ended up a little different.

From the SEC’s announcement on attendance:

Attendance
Institutions shall determine the number of guests permitted to attend in accordance with applicable state and local guidelines, policies and/or regulations. In the absence of state and/or local guidelines, policies and/or regulations, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations on physical distancing should be applied.

The game itself was fine. No one wore a mask at their seat (thank God, it was hot). They should up the attendance to at least 40%, it wouldn’t be an issue at all.

Tailgating was dead and they need to update their stance to allow formal tailgating with family/close friends but limit it to maybe 12-15 ppl per tailgate. There’s nothing dangerous about sitting outside in the sun with your friends/family.

No traffic at the end of the game was about the only plus. To be hones not having the fans in the stands didn't bother me but not having pregame with the band on the field was a bummer.

Contrary to what I've seen reported, everyone one had on masks and most of them took them off once in their seats. My seats were moved from the bottom of the NE upper bowl to the 9th row of sec 240 and it's the closest I have been to the field. I was sitting among the cut-outs. It was bizarre and other worldly.

Well if LA is in Phase 3, it should be 75%.

But game day sucked.

I guess the only cool thing was lack of traffic. Pulled up and parked at 2:00 without ever waiting in 1 long line. Same for leaving...at the end of the game.

Inside the stadium was dead. Felt like a 11:00 JP game. zero energy. LSU will get zero, zilch, nada, of a pick me up from the crowd. The players tried, but TS was just dead.

Yes it was weird most of the concession stands were closed. It created long lines for the few that were open.

Only needed to mask to walk in the stadium.

I just took the survey. People would have been a lot happier had we won the damned football game. Otherwise, my suggestion was to let more people in and to allow tailgating. I am not blaming LSU and TAF because a lot of things are beyond their control. They are taking their marching orders from the state. I wish the restrictions could be loosened, but a lot of other teams, both college and pro, have it worse than we do.

It was as a bad experience. No beer but staff were nice. No energy and campus was empty.

Were police out and about walking around to ensure no tailgating?

The RV lot was like being in Hitler Germany. We were sitting in the RV minding our own business only to get a knock on the door that our awning that was shading the side of the RV had to go up and that my kid's could not have their toys outside. We understand no tailgating, but what took place Saturday was unreasonable.
