Ascension is practically in my back yard. I think my daughter would be happier at teurlings, but it’s very far. She thinks she wants to be at stm with most of her friends. We’ll see, 2+ years to decide.

I've seen plenty parents let their "kid" make the decision...It has almost always played out bad. Especially with kids wanting to follow their friends.
As parents we know what's best for our kids, they can't figure out if they want tater tots or fries at sonic....they shouldn't be making big decisions at 14 years old.
