O is smarter than 90% of the posters here.

You can’t bring Poli Board ideals into a locker room.

I'm the furthest thing from a politard and my post history proves it. By the same token I'm the furthest thing from a SJW. I dont want a team full of true believers in BLM or Qanon. If activism is the new face of college and/or pro sports I'll find something else to do with my weekends. And if LSU continues down its woke path it will be without my annual donation.

Let's face it every thing was fine until Ryan Clark and the likes of Chaisson took to twitter to Bash Coach O for saying he liked President Trump. So now who takes to the street to show his Support? Saban. Just saying that if Coach O never makes that comment about Trump everything is fine. Hell those players could have asked Coach O and he probably walks with them but he is automatically labeled by Ryan Clark and the rest of the BLM crew so they walk without him knowing. Damn shitshow now after a unforgettable season.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm likely in the same boat with you. I just can't get on board and truly enjoy something if what I'm watching is completely against my own core beliefs as a human being. I'm sure there are plenty of folks who disagree and that's certainly their right. However, I personally don't think I can really and truly support something if they subscribe to something and push ideals that are so far away from what is important to me. At that point, it ceases being as enjoyable to me, and I have other things I can do in my leisure time that are enjoyable. Sports have always been an escape for me from the daily grind of life. I don't need politics and social justice narratives shoved down my throat while I'm trying to watch sports. If I want that, I can turn it on the news. These players may have a platform and they're more than welcome to use their platform to reach people who they want to reach or who want to be reached. I'm just not one of those people who want to be reached. I'm very aware of the issues and, quite frankly, don't need a college athlete (or any entertainer) to let me know anything.
