Might be the situation Mcclain was for Bama last year. LSU might offer him too late. I'd hate to see this guy creaming us every year...

Let's be honest man..if LSU offered him he would be a commitment. I hate to lose him becuase it's very possible but he does have grade issues.

I'd be surprised if Sentimore didn't get an offer. He could be a valuable signee simply because (if he does qualify) he has the versatility to play inside or outside (ala RJF) as needs on the depth chart dictate.

Let's hope so. Sign him and if his grades don't come up, send him the Hargrave route. The last thing we want to do is have him feel "slighted" by his homestate Tigers and sign with Bama...only to have them send him the Hargrave route.
If his grades don't come up, he's not playing for ANYONE for a couple of years anyway, but if/when he DOES get them up, then let's make sure he ends up here.

too bad things aren't like they were back in the day for the Bear. We could sign and keep em all just to keep them away from Nickie!
Nickie will never get Bama to where it once was because no team will ever have that kind of success again with scholarship limitations and NCAA scutiny.
