For Rita, I found a church that would be offering supplies to residents in hardest hit areas. I then collected supplies they said were most needed and loaded up a rental truck with supplies over 1 week. When word got out, there were more donations that a rental truck could handle so another La native rented another, smaller truck. We then drove the supplies to that church for local distribution.
