You (are) stupid Gismo68. Do you know how many people have died as a direct result of shutting everything down? Didn’t think so. Do you know how many college and professional athletes have died from Coronavirus in the USA? Didn’t think so. It is zero, by the way.

It is selfish to hide in fear and continue to see the destruction of people’s lives when it is not necessary. Not necessary! Stupid.

Why would the SEC go to the trouble of a 10 day fight over which teams get added to each schools' schedule, finally announce it on Friday afternoon, and then postpone the season until the Spring?

So find one "who's" only concern is looking bad? Sounds like identity politics me. What are you trying to say?

"isn't, ISN't, and not"

You used a triple-negative, so I can't say I don't disagree with you.

Team outbreaks that have created a logistical nightmare, on top of whatever personal ailments the flu might bring.

Some teams have played 14games. Some as low as 7. Series have been cancelled.

I see both sides. I really want football. But the sheer number of players, the contact between players & then the variable of school presents a much bigger problem.

It's not that they thought they might not win the white house. The scheme design was centered on taking advantage of the virus to curry favor and show strength to the voters. The record of achievements during the Trump presidency isn't in the Democrats favor so they needed something to sway actual voters. It wasn't working hence taking advantage of George Floyd to try again.
As far as college football, it wasn't anywhere near the list of things they were concerned with when this began. It's just collateral damage in a sense. All sports were. If enough concern is created, the thought is the voters will not be concerned about losing entertainment for a bit.
They just didnt think the "common" folk would catch on so quickly and figure out the entire virus, though rightfully a concern to many, has become purely political. Or that Americans don't like being told what to do, how to do it and where to do it. Not when your hurting their pockets while doing so. George Floyd happens and anarchy is created to piss everyone off and further divide the 2 sides. Now Nov 3 will be a show of hands. Who's side is one, greater, and two, more legitimately pissed off.

The thing that will doom football is what happens off the field. You ain't gonna corral 20 year olds.

Playing 2 seasons in a calendar year sounds like a very safe alternative.

LSU can go to hell if they try and force season ticket holders to buy the spring shite.
