And just to be clear, I’m not even saying that the shields aren’t, in fact, contributors to lack of oxygen and could potentially help lead to heatstrokes. I have no idea. I also have no idea whether, like another poster suggested, the potentially increased risk is worth whatever the potential rewards regarding COVID protection may be. I’m merely saying you smugly citing a completely irrelevant study like it’s some sort of drop-the-mic, /thread, “gotcha” is chicken-shite nonsense.

The study showing permanent brain damage from heat stroke is NOT irrelevant.
And where is the study that says it is SAFE to put ballplayer's heads in a plastic bubble?
There are already LSU player complaints published nationally.
You are more worried about winning a keyboard argument than you are about player safety. GFY

just seems like common sense to me, no study needed, to realized that putting a plastic face shield on the front of a football helmet, in Louisiana climate, is going to make dealing with the heat even worse and more dangerous than it already is
