Thoughts on tigers and being “woke”?

You have to imagine that they understand the possible loss in donor and fan support if we allow the football team to be consumed by messages of SJW controversy.

I think it would be nice if both sides realized that hating anyone for a political opinion is exactly what’s wrong with this country. If you’re “woke” the conservatives think you’re the antichrist. What you’re missing is that the left has been canceling people who don’t agree with them, causing people to lose their jobs and even worse. The right is finally waking up and joining the battle. There is no equivalency here. Just as the guy who punches a fellow who punched him first is not equivalent to his assailant.

I’m not missing much of anything. Do I think players asking Texas to change their song is ridiculous? Sure do. Do I feel sorry for people losing their jobs due to doing racist shite? Sure don’t.

Moderates used to exist in this country and they were what made it great. Both sides are trying their damndest to snuff that out and nothing good will come of it.

My thoughts are that black people are being suckled on this notion that they aren’t rich because white people are victimizing them. It’s utter nonsense, but nearly all of them believe it because it’s like a narcotic - you are never held accountable.

You can see it in the BLM critique of “white” culture...

- They think you have to be on time
- They think you should work hard
- They think you should be self-reliant
- They believe in majority rules (as opposed to what? The biggest savage rules?)

In short they are critical of all of the virtues that allowed Europeans to crawl out of the primordial mud and live as free people with leisure time and ample material goods.

What about Drew Brees who was about to lose his job for saying he doesn’t think kneeling during the national anthem is cool? That’s not “racist shite”; that’s stating a reasonable opinion. What about Ellen DeGeneres who, before this recent shitstorm, was vilified by the left for yuking it up with George W Bush? Racist shite? No sir! They are threatening people, canceling people and costing them their jobs for being right of center. People have been fired for supporting the President. Goya Foods was on their way to being canceled when the right rallied to them.

Why didn’t the black guy form the Steelers that basically said the same thing as Drew Brees get crucified? If the color of skin don’t matter then why not bash him?

The only "hate" out there is from the left. Conservatives disagree with policy/platforms/etc. and the left demonizes us for that disagreement. It is NOT HATE to call attention to the FACT that BLM was founded, and is based on lies. They intentionally use raw data (as a conclusion) that has not gone through a multi-varied analysis. They (the left) do this on purpose...it is not an accident. 49-50% of ALL murders in the US are committed by 6-7% of the population (black males). WHY ARE WE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS. If LSU/LSU Athletics "really cared" about the lives of blacks, they should be talking about the above 49-50% statement (according to FBI statistics). Instead, LSU has decided to align itself with a Marxist organization (the co-founders have self-proclaimed themselves as "trained Marxists").

Consider the definition of "woke." Or, consider what the "woke" people are doing AND saying. I have not heard anyone from the right use the term "antichrist." Instead, the right chooses to call attention to "woke culture" and their actions/stated goals. Aligning yourself with Marxists/Socialists and an ideology that historically resulted in the deaths of over 100 million people (consider Mao, Stalin, Vietnam, etc.).
