Top 2 should be Auburn:2004 and LSU:2011

2013 Auburn should not be on that list.

Unless the list is ranking the luckiest SEC teams to not win a title.

They were two fluke miracle plays away from finishing 9-3.

Will always and forever blame that OkieSt kicker for missing the field goal, giving Bama the mulligan.

I suppose you are talking about a National Championship because LSU won the SEC Title in 2011.

This is an absolutely atrocious list. 2007 Missouri was NOT an SEC team. They were in the Big 12 at the time and lost to Oklahoma twice. You can’t count a Big 12 team in the list of greatest SEC teams.

2013 Auburn might be the worst team to get to the title in the last 20 years. Putting them ahead of 2011 LSU on this list is asinine and indefensible.

They almost lost like 6 games that year to not very good teams:
31-24 W against 6-7 Wazzu
24-20 W against 7-6 MSU
Absolutely smacked by a 3 loss LSU
30-22 W against 8-5 Ole Miss
Absolute hail mary to beat 8-5 UGA

The only 1 possession game 2011 LSU had was @Bama, while beating 7 other ranked teams by 2+ touchdowns. It's really not remotely close

That 2011 LSU team outscored a schedule that included #3 Oregon, #14 West Virginia, #2 alabama, #3 Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida, and Auburn by a combined 500-123. Even though they scored 10 touchdowns on special teams or defense, the offense still averaged 5 TDs per game, and the defense gave up less than 10 points per game.

If we had beaten bama in the title game, or Oklahoma State as it should have been, 2011 LSU would have gone down as a top 3 team in history (until 2019 that is.)

1961 LSU Dietzel says this is the best team he coached.(belatedly, the SEC recognized them as Co-Champions of the SEC).

1969 LSU - denied the opportunity to play Texas for the NC when Notre Dame decided it wanted some bowl action.

That is a crappy list. Mizzou has no business anywhere near that. 2011 LSU should be top 3 minimum.
