Let's break it down public and private. I also want to hear your favorite destinations (mostly on site type set ups)

Public:
1. Pacific Dunes
2. Kiawah Ocean course
3. Erin Hills
4. Bandon Trails
5. Mammoth Dunes

Private:
1. Lake Nona (Orlando)
2. Isleworth (Orlando)
3. Pablo Creek (JAX)
4. Fallen Oak (semi private/not full resort)
5. Sawgrass CC (JAX)

Resorts:
1. Bandon Dunes
2. Sand Valley
3. Kiawah
4. Streamsong
5. Kohler (was actually fairly disappointed to this with the expectations)

Heading to Kiawah next week. Hope it’s as good as they say.

You forgot the Monterey peninsula and Pebble.

Bandon Dunes is by far my favorite golf destination on this entire planet. Our group went to Streamsong last year and had a ball also.

No Pinehurst or Pebble (Monterrey Area)?

Also, throw in French Lick, Indiana with the Dye and Ross Courses.

Old Waverly/

Did you get a chance to play Mossy Oak?

I think Old Waverly offers a overnight package for both courses.

My favorites -

1. Bandon and Pacific Dunes - it defies description, golf at its best.

2. Kapalua Plantation - Massive golf course and drinks at Kimo's in La haina watching the whales....

3. Doral GC - Who dosen't like Miami nighlife and Joes Stone Crab Restaurant

4. El Camaleon Mayakoba Golf Club in Playa del Carmen Mexico, Greg Norman design and staying at the IberioStar.

Since I live in Texas -

1. La Cantera - The Palmer course is excellent, the Resort Course is fun. The Rib Rack of Wild Boar at the Signature Restaurant is incredible. Watch out for the Rattlesnakes on the Palmer.

2. Barton Creek - Awesome courses and great OMNI service.

3. Hyatt Regency Bastrop - The Wolfdancer Course is a great layout and the Cowboy Ribeye at the grill is the best ever.

My Bucket List Course -

Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchison Kansas, Just have to get there.
