Sorry if already covered, but I searched quickly and did not see anything.

I am wondering what websites the board recommends for firearm accessories?

Looking for:
Selection
Price
Service

Thanks for the help.

Primary Arms - based in Texas, fastest shipping
Brownells - great customer service from the only time I needed to talk to them

I second Primary Arms. I placed an order one Friday about 10 at night. The order was processed and ready for shipment by noon on Saturday, and I received the package the following Tuesday.

I’ll add that I’ve ordered through Optics Planet and they will have items labeled as in stock. When they process your order they’ll then tell you that certain items will be shipped in 2 months or more.

These are my go-to's as well. They're generally very well stocked in parts and their prices are pretty good. I'll check their price, then just do a general Google search for the exact item I'm considering to check the prices at other stores to keep them honest.

Brownell's uses the cheapest possible shipping, though. If you have something you definitely need soon and on a known date, you're going to have to upgrade shipping, so factor that cost in when comparison shopping. Their standard shipping is basically like flying standby. It's not guaranteed to get a spot and it gets put onto whatever vehicle has extra space and is going in the general direction the package needs to go.

I had a package a couple of weeks ago that left Iowa on May 27th. It then went to Atlanta to Memphis to Ocean Springs to Baton Rouge to Huntsville to Memphis to Ocean Springs to New Orleans to Baton Rouge and was delivered on June 8th. The ordeal above is on the Post Office on Bluebonnet because they sent it to Huntsville instead of across town. However, every single package I get from Brownell's using their standard shipping takes a circuitous route and usually arrives 2 or 3 days after they predicted. The package before that didn't have all the USPS screwups, but it did go from Iowa to Illinois to Kentucky to Alabama to Mississippi to Louisiana.

Just be aware and plan accordingly if you need something really quick.

As far as prices and quick to ship go:
Primary Arms
DSG Arms
AIM Surplus

Palmetto State routinely has some very unbeatable deals, but can be wishy washy on shipping it out in a timely manner.

Buds Gun Shop is about the only left that doesn't charge sales tax to LA residents.
