Keep reading about players speaking out against starting back up and the latest I just read they are bringing up race

You won't get paid, and your salary decreases next year when the salary cap comes back lower than expected b/c you decided not to finish the year.

Everyone relax. It's a negotiation process. The NBA has been disclosing the positive aspects of the plan for week, so now its the NBPA's turn to release the negative aspects to get something in return. They'll be playing in July

I think it really matters what most of the stars want to do. If Giannis/LeBron/Luka/Harden/AD/Kawhi want to play, then we're going to have a season, and others will fall in line. If you get two guys out of that group who decide that they don't want to play, then you'd see a lot of others deciding the same thing, and any title would end up with a giant asterisk.

This is very true what kyrie said. Once the league starts, a lot of the protests will likely start dying down and the attention will switch onto other things (which is likely what america wants), so he's speaking honesty.

I’d be interested to see what players are most against it outside of Kyrie. He’s kinda his own dude in regards to reality.
What I need to know is what the real reason you don’t want the league started back up.
Because it will “take away from the movement?” Ok, maybe. Understandable. But if you push off restart, what’s it gonna take for you to be fine with it coming back? This isn’t going away. See that as too slippery a slope. Not to mention what better platform if games start back up?
Is it because of COVID concerns? Perfectly fine. If you’re concerned, stay home. If you see things that need to be better, bring them up and fix them. If everyone goes and you see cases spike, then call it off.
