It may be from poor oral posture, like mouth breathing, and not keeping your tongue at the roof of the mouth.

Poor oral posture can really change your bone structure. That and a soft foot diet.

I have buccal mandibular tori on both sides. Every time a dentist exams me he says he’s never seen them that big but apparently they formed because I have a strong bite.

They don’t bother me so no need to remove them.
