Way to go guys! We did it. We saved 10 people to kill 20!

Well someone else posted a thread the other day with data that said heart attacks, strokes, accidents, etc are all down so sounds like conflicting info

But keep the country locked down.

Just wait until they do postmortem testing and reclassify half those deaths as Covid deaths

Our numbers come directly from other hospitals in pretty much live time

Don't forget people putting off cancer screenings, or ignoring a lump in their neck, for fear of a cough with a less than 1% mortality rate.
This situation needs to end

all depends on how you write it up. Everything is s Covid death when you are getting paid $13K(?) per Covid death.

Not only did this cause economic harm that will cause extreme difficulties for people, it actually caused harm to people health more than it helped

Sounds like the patients themselves are choosing to put off treatment because they're scared of infection. Seems like you're trying to make it sound like a poilicy was created that denied treatment to non-COVID patients.

I’m not trying to twist anything. You constantly have leaders telling people to not leave the house, the hospitals are overrun and people are dying in the halls etc, people will stay away at all costs

Exactly! It's not just the increase in suicide that I was worried about. I was also fearful of the rise in fatalities due to delayed surgeries, treatment, and screenings - none of which would have happened if it wasn't for social media, an ignorant mainstream media, and stupid politicians.

My comment was directed at the OP's comment of "We did it" which I assumed implied that the policies "we" created in repsonse to COVID were what was responsible for these death. Obviously it has been disruptive to the healthcare system, and that obviously affects other treatments.

I’ve seen COVID deniers say overall deaths are way down, and now they are saying that deaths from everything else but COVID are way up. It’s hard to keep up.

Doesn't matter, they'll all be counted as China Flu deaths anyway.
