I'm in south Louisiana. It's a flaw in air bags over time (a pinhole leak develops eventually). Is it worth 16k to replace it when it inevitably fails? A good coil setup cost 1k+any labor.
Buy what you want to buy and compare the ride on both. I wouldn't pay extra for it.

I see, you threw me off with the cold weather comment. Yea if I get one with air ride and it fails I’ll be switching to coils. Interesting to see that yours failed in the south. Up until now I’ve only really seen people posting about failures in cold weather climates. How many miles did yours have when it failed?
