It doesn’t require you name “family members.” Or “all your friends at work.” You bangin some chick at work that you’re nervous the state is going to find out?
Contact tracing is where a person who has tested positive for the virus tells the health department all the people they’ve been in “close contact” with since the time they were likely contagious. Those people are then contacted and then advised to self-quarantine.

The risk of abuse is also quite high. Who gets access to that data? That’s especially true if you introduce a technological solution, like cell phone tracking.
