Actually no you can’t sit on the beach. Even a private one. I live in Orange Beach. It’s a $500 ticket and it up to 60 days in jail if your even caught on the beach. Now I doubt they actually jail anyone but they sure as hell are patrolling the shite out of it and threatening tickets.

Flora-Bama is closed. Only their yacht club is open for takeout.

Yes, I forgot that the exact exit to get to Orange beach was a few miles before the Florida line. That entire area gets a little convoluted in my mind because I haven't been that way in years and it's all right on state lines.

I knew I should have booked something for Memorial Day weekend a few weeks back.

How strict are they with the enforcement down toward Ft Morgan?

If you're worried about getting stopped just take the Theodore exit, head down and jump on the Dauphin Island Ferry and come in through Ft Morgan. May take you a little longer but wtf else you have to do

They gave a family on our beach a $400 ticket for their kid running into the water

I think they were just sick of giving out warnings

Everytime someone goes out there, a ATV is there almost instantly telling them to leave.
