Watch MJ play against physical defense

LeBron would for sure be a scrub against this defense.

Poor Jeff Hornacek

Those block/charge calls early in the video are amazing.

Wait I thought you would either get your head removed via clothesline or be the recipient of a jackknife powerbomb if you dared driving to the basket in the 1990’s

5 minutes of 90s NBA footage without a single decapitation on a player driving to the rim?

Must be fake

Every Superstar gets all the calls including LeBron and Curry today.

The only superstar that didn't get the calls was Shaq. Because if they called every foul against Shaq he'd have 100 points a game while still missing 50 FTs.

I only watched like 45 seconds but most of those fouls I saw were tacky.

Difference: MJ had to work and vanquish others to be great and therefore dominated, LeBron’s entitled and manages to get by on talent alone like Wilt, LeBron’s SOFT

That clip obviously isn't from the 90s. The Piston Bad Boys kept gats in their waistbands and capped anyone who even thought about entering the lane.

Let’s get back on topic. Those were the ruthless 90s defenses all of the boomers talk about! Every single one of those was a hard foul.

The distance between Jordan and his peers was greater than Lebron vs his peers, but that doesn't make him better than Lebron.

The truth is Jordan dominated a bunch of plumbers. The game was not global back then the and the talent pool was not as deep.

Now they are passing out 50 million per year contracts and the game is global.

That is going to attract the best athletes in the world.

The truth is there were not very many 6'6" guards with Jordan's athleticism in the 80s or 90s. In the 2000s and 2010s that became the prototype in part thanks to Jordan.

The only thing I will concede Jordan was better at than Lebron was mid range shooting and on ball perimeter defense.

Lebron is better in every other facet of basketball.

The fact that Lebron scored more points on less shots is impressive to me. I know he shot 4 thousand more 3s than Jordan, but the fact that he has a higher all time FG percentage than Jordan despite shooting 4 thousand more 3s than Jordan is even more impressive.

Lebron is also a savant when it comes to passing the ball. He is going to end up with more assists than Magic Johnson.

Jordan's biggest asset as it pertains to his legacy is nostalgia.

If Jordan played up to the description that people use to describe him today, he would have never lost a game.
