I agree...I do wonder though even if government shut downs are lifted, how soon the public will feel safe to go about normal life especially if cases and deaths continue to rise. I hope this isnt the case....but we may have to face a choice between losing hundreds of thousands of people or more vs absolutely destroying our economy. How would our leaders communicate that it's important to conduct business and get out of your house after freaking everyone the frick out and telling them to stay home for months.

But it's going to take people not being selfish assholes and being willing to isolate if they're showing symptoms.
Once manufacturing of PPE and ventilators, etc reaches a point where hospitals have what they need, we will be better prepared to fight a 2nd wave.

I think it will be a gradual lift of restrictions over a 6-8 week period. I assume there will other waves of infections and deaths until a vaccine is in place or the virus “runs its course”, if that is even a thing.
