Unbelievable how some of our "fans" and "graduates" want Will Wade and LSU Basketball to suffer. Yall are just fricking awful people.
Has to be penis envy or something but First Cut, Bassman, Pirate King, and so many others literally want LSU Basketball to get the death penalty or something. frick all that. We had 9 years of "death penalty" in Trent Johnson and Johnny Jones and we are finally escaping that disastrous stretch. Woodward needs to back Wade or else it will show us alot about who he is. Zero evidence for anything. Absolutely zero except a felon's hearsay arse story.
All of these allegations are dumb as frick. Glad Forde spends so much time looking into Duke paying Zion and RJ Barrett and Kentucky paying Ashton Hagans. God forbid a new coach come and compete without paying his "dues" first. frick the media

I’m not sure why you’re so dismissive of Forde. I agree he’s an asshat but you can bet that he, and the other sportswriters, have sources in the NCAA. Everyone poo poo’s the tape but they give the NCAA plenty of justification to consider an NOA.
Also, while I know Alleva is hated, I think his statement to Rabalais about regretting his hire of Wade is because he knows there’s some problem brewing,
Maybe nothing comes from all this but it’s difficult to be smug or think the NCAA will not pursue an inquiry,

Even if there is all the trouble in the world brewing it's not Alleva's watch anymore so I doubt he considered it that way. He regretted it because that's what got him run off.

Yeah okay. frick Alleva. His statement to Rabalais is a perfect example of a fricking coward leader. If it weren't for Nunez frickboy Joe would have hired someone like Kermit who is decent but will never be elite.
Alleva is mad that Wade cost him his job after being inept for 10 years and 4 years before that at Duke. Dude rode Coach K and Les Miles coattails until Will Wade woke people the frick up about how much of a clown Alleva was and something was actually done about it. Alleva doesn't know shite.

From what I read in The Advocate by Rabalais, everything that was reported before is in the documentary. That includes the recording of Wade speaking as well.

So, you believe that Pat Forde is just making this up? So, Pat Forde is lying and throwing dirt on Alabama, Arizona, Louisville, and LSU because he hates all of them. Unlikely. What is more likely, is that Pat Forde has some "inside" information from the NCAA. That is what reporters do. They develop relationships with "insiders" to get information. It has been stated on this board how "unusual" it was for a BB coach to sign a contract like that. I agree with a previous post that much of this stuff was/is known by the LSU administration. That is why he was FORCED to sign the new contract.

However, Nunez was a horrible hire at LSU. He was extremely rude to many. I met him a few years back at a TAF event. After meeting him, you would immediately get a feeling that you were not important. He was one of those who thought he was better than everyone else. When I heard he was leaving LSU I celebrated. He is a class "A" jack-arse. LSU is much better off without him.

Everyone wants to argue about whether the HBO article contains WW speaking on the FBI wiretap. The reality is:
1. LSU/WW is currently under investigation by the NCAA
2. There is "inside" information from Sports Illustrated that LSU will receive an NOA from the NCAA soon.
3. If the NOA contains any Level I or Level II violations, WW is terminated.
