I want to have some fun with this one. I've got a small problem. I have a daughter who is a junior at App. State, and a son who is a incomming freshmen at LSU. My daughter says that I should root for App. since she is the oldest and been there the longest, but my son will be playing baseball for LSU. What's a father to do? Help, got to keep the peace in the household, but what a great problem to have.

It all depends on which kid you love the most, with the only variant being which one you think will take care of you when you are old and crapping your pants.

You better root for App. St. in football and LSU in baseball. That way your covering both bases.

Cheer for the school of the child that receives the most scholarship aid.

App St. Losing to LSU, is expected. It would have no impact on their season. LSU losing to App. st. would destroy any hopes we had of a National Championship, in the first week of play no less.....Go for LSU.

Mr. Hanover sorry to get off topic but what do you think the one reason your son decided to play at LSU?

Turn it into something to benefit yourself. Tell 'em that the one who can do the most to make you a happy dad, from now 'til gametime, is the winner. And that team will get your support

That's easy, ASU. If your son was any good at baseball he'd be playing for Carolina. Since he isn't, that means you only have one chance to support a national champion this year, ASU.

This is easy you pull for App.St. See you can root for them and be guilt free because there is no way they will beat LSU, but by doing so you make your daughter happy. Your son will understand because he knows the Tigers will win.

Sir;
My apologies, I violated one of my own rules in posting my comment to your thread. When I registered at Tiger Rant, I only planned on posting re: the arrogant comments about the ASU/LSU football game. I do not know your son, I'm sure that he is very talented and has made a wise choice. Please be assured that in the future I will restrict my comments to ASU/LSU football. Again, please accept my sincere apologies for an inappropriate remark.
