I definitely remember Champ Bailey tearing us up back in 98.
While Shaun Alexander is the first one that comes to mind, this is an interesting one. That lost to Georgia was the beginning of the end for Gerry Dinardo.

I agree with Archie Manning and Ted Hendricks. I have seen many of the worthy other candidates including McFadden, Tebow, White, Spurrier, etc. No one was more dominant defensively than the Mad Stork. He was more dominant than even Derrick Thomas and that is saying something. He was so dominant in Tiger Stadium in 67, they decided to run at him in Miami in 68 to offset his speed - oops 30 to 0 for the bad guys.

I’d put Ted Hendricks on the list.
Emmitt Smith
Marcus Allen
Tim Tebow

by definition the Heisman is awarded to the best player that year. So the best player to play in TS would be one of that elite group. Tebow, Spurrior, Sullivan, someone from Bama, maybe more.

I am going with JFF. He was not too successful in tiger stadium but was top 5 player to play college ball imho. This won't be popular choice but who gives a shite.

Quincy Carter , but only if Lou Tepper is the LSU DC.
In all seriousness, I would say Derrick Thomas or Cortez Kennedy. Both defined their position at the college and NFL levels.
We played North Carolina in the early 80s, can’t remember if in Tiger Stadium or if LT was on that team. If so, LT.

Here are the players who won the Heisman Trophy in years they played in Tiger Stadium:
Tim Tebow (07)
Charles White (79)
Steve Spurrier (66)
The following players won the Heisman Trophy and played in Tiger Stadium, but not the same year:
Derrick Henry (Won Heisman in 15, played in TS in 14)
Johnny Manziel (Won Heisman in 12, played in TS in 13)
Mark Ingram (Won Heisman in 09, played in TS in 08)
Danny Wuerffel (Won Heisman in 96, played in TS in 95)
Tim Brown (Won Heisman in 87, played in TS in 86)
Marcus Allen (Won Heisman in 81, played in TS in 79)
On that list, only Spurrier led his team to a dominant win in Tiger Stadium the same year he won the Heisman. Weurffel had a more dominant game the year before he won the Heisman, so I would go with him among Heisman winners.
