They go through growth spurts also .. iirc (our baby is 19) it happens around 2/3 weeks and again at 6. Can’t remember the next one but it could be that.
Ours cried when they were hungry or wet. Later when they were overly tired but at the point I made sure everything else was good and then let them cry. When I got to the room to check on our son once, he pointed to his pacifier that he threw out of his bed and laughed. Yeah no. I let him cry it out but he was a little more than one and nothing wrong with him.
