I was positive that he'd committed to another school, but maybe not.
Fell down to the bottom of the depth chart at USC. They were in the same class, and 2 sites (rivals and 247) rated Sears higher, not that it means anything.
I guess the fact that O has not pursued a transfer means that he feels good, and I'm hopeful. But there are certainly questions.

I am sure that the LSU coaches believe Brennan can do the job. There have been several proven QB go into the portal and LSU did not make a move toward them. I interpret this as meaning they think Brennan will do it.
Brennan is now a mature player who has set in the same room as Joe Burrow while the coaches prepared him, watched him on the field. He has gone thru the same drills and mental exercises as Burrow was theoretically ready to play if Burrow got injured. Now he will get all the attention Burrow got in 2019. He could always throw the ball.
