re: Things I saw with my own eyes at Burch signing

No, it's more than likely pressure from USCe that they don't know how to handle. The placard in front of his table and some others said University of South Carolina. The banners on the walls said University of South Carolina. It would be one of the most uncomfortable settings to be in to say I'm going to LSU. If you put a placard on the student's table saying the student is going to a specific school, then you aren't planning to allow the students to officially announced where they are going. The optics would have been weird.

The entire situation is just bizarre. I will say, regardless of where he ends up, I thought the way the school did signing day was kind of shitty. Not just for him, but for all those kids.

I'd imagine most of them dreamed about being able to make an announcement and put on a hat in front of a cheering crowd like they've seen so many before them do. These kids just got to stand up and say thank you to very little applause.
