Made a fall trip to Delacroix last year that was meh. Weather issues. Trip before that was a fall trip to MS and that was okay.
Thinking Fourchon, Leeville, etc., and change the time of the year that we go. Up for anywhere.
April is bitch windy, right? May or June maybe?
Thanks in advance.

My niece’s husband is a full-time professional fishing guide out of Port Sulphur/Venice, he does inshore and his brother Brent offshore, and his parents were full-time professional fishing guides before they retired. If you are interested would best to contact him for info soon as I’m pretty sure openings get booked up in advance. He seldom lacks for customers.

I second Troy, he is good with people and works hard to put you on fish.

If you decide to do Delacroix again, Captain Jack at Sweetwater was excellent to us. Worked his arse off to put us on fish.

His business is called Outcast Charters
My personal recommendation is Charlie Thomason (Bayou Charters), always limit out with him and he is enjoyable to fish with. Nice lodge and added another one on the property.

I thought Thomason had passed away. Who was the well known guide that died a few years ago?

Capt Barry Brechtel died in vehicle accident in 2008/2009. I believe he was part owner of BSM.

Mike is good. If somebody wants to fish out of Larose, they need to be calling T Man Cheremie.

No one fishes out of larose. They all launch at the public launch in golden meadow. All good people, Aaron Pierce, Troy, Roger Dowdy. The Plaisances out of Leeville, Mike Guidry. All will put you on fish.
